School is a time for learning, growth and transition to the next stage of life. Are you ready?
While the school system is required to provide the education and basic services needed to help your school-age child grow and develop, Noble is there to support you along the way.
We do this through:
Making the Transition
The school years are a time of transition to the next life stage. To help you navigate these issues, we can sit down with you individually or as part of a small group presentation. Through our Center for Family Leadership, we help parents advocate for their rights, connect with families who've already navigated those vital transition periods, and plan for the future.
Person-Centered Planning
You and your child have important dreams and goals. This powerful tool will help you define your vision and focus energy on achieving meaningful days for your child. We can teach you how to put this planning process to work for your family.
Link to Resources
We can connect you with a vast array of community resources, including mentor parents, answers your questions, a plan for the future and assistance in achieving your family's goals.
School-to-Work Services
From help in drafting a resume to practicing interviewing skills, Noble's award-winning School-to-Work service assists students with disabilities in making the transition to the workforce. Together with teachers, family members and school administrators, Noble employment consultants help students with disabilities gain marketable job skills working at local businesses, making it easier to get jobs after graduation. Our Project SEARCH at St.Vincent Carmel and at Riverview Hospital and our partnership with Pike High School are just a few examples.
