Supporting Families

::
 A Time of Transition ::

While the school system is required to provide the education and basic services needed to help your school-age child grow and develop, Noble is there to support you along the way. We do this through:

  • Making the Transition—The school years are a time of transition to the next life stage. To help you navigate these issues, we can sit down with you individually or as part of a small group presentation. Through our Center for Family Leadership, we help parents advocate for their rights, connect with families who've already navigated those vital transition periods, and plan for the future.
  • Link to Resources—We can connect you with a vast array of community resources, including mentor parents, to answer your questions, plan for the future and help you achieve your family's goals.
  • School-to-Work Services—From help in drafting a resume to practicing interviewing skills, Noble's award-winning School-to-Work service assists students with disabilities in making the transition to the workforce. Together with teachers, family members and school administrators, Noble employment consultants help students with disabilities gain marketable job skills working at local businesses, making it easier to get jobs after graduation.
