Helping adults with
disabilities increase their work skills is
only part of what we do. Creating opportunities to develop life skills is the focus of Noble's Day Services.
Center-Based Group Activities
Our Day Services enable individuals to develop social, communication and daily living skills through classroom-based activities like:
- Art

- Music Therapy
- Recreation, Nutrition and Fitness
- Sign Language/Communication Skills
- Cooking Class
- Computers
- Poetry Club
- Photography Club
- Skills Training
We offer multi-sensory experiences and wellness activities, as well as host the local Self-Advocates chapter. Our Noble East location also features a Seniors Team that focuses on the particular needs of this age group, while individuals at Noble West and Noble East can enhance group activities with work opportunities.
Small Group Community Activities
Our Day Services also offer opportunities to explore the community in small groups for individuals who choose this option. Many enjoy the satisfaction of volunteer jobs, while others decide to visit the library, enhance their computer skills or go grocery shopping in preparation for cooking class. Clubs include Aktion Club, Chic Sisters Society, Gardening Club and Photography Club. Whatever the choice, the goal is to enrich lives by participating in the community.
Community Exploration
Working one-on-one with the people we serve, staff members couple intensive community-based support with other services to best meet the individual’s needs and goals. Often, these individuals volunteer for a variety of organizations and gain skills that can ultimately help them become more involved and independent.
